As a young man, I dreamed of having my very own Rigby like my heroes, the great African hunters and my fellow New Zealanders Captain ‘Samaki’ Salmon and Temple Perkins. This has now become a reality. With the release of the Rigby Big Game rifle I am certain many other New Zealand hunters will also come to realise their dreams of hunting with the a Rigby are now even more obtainable.”
Rigby’s Managing Director Marc Newton said the firm was delighted to have Hughes on board: “It’s great to have someone so charismatic and well-respected representing us around the world and helping us service customers in New Zealand. We can’t wait to see what Davey will get up to with his Big Game.”
