London gunmaker John Rigby & Co. has launched a new stealthy variation of their popular Rigby blue canvas and leather gunslip. Crafted for Rigby by Traditional English Guncases (TEG) London, the rifle slip is made from an earth-coloured canvas and rich dark tan leather, to blend into forested and bush-covered backgrounds.

Designed to protect your rifle, the thick durable canvas exterior is complemented by leather piping along the seams, as well as a reinforced leather toe on its base to ensure that the slip not only protects the muzzle of your rifle, but will stand the test of time. Two leather medallions feature on the exterior – one left blank for added personalisation and the second bearing the Rigby name and ‘double R’ logo.

A sturdy YKK zip runs the full length of the slip for easy access to your rifle, as well as through the fold-over top buckle tab. A storage loop fitted to the base and a sturdy adjustable leather strap on the outside make stowage and transport simple. The slip is also unlined so it can be rolled up and packed away in a compact manner when not in use.

Hand-stitched throughout with solid brass fixings, the rifle slip is available in two sizes: 46 and 48-inches.

Rigby’s managing director, Marc Newton, commented: “When adding to our range of gunslips, it was important for us to create one that was not only functional, but durable. TEG’s passion for craftsmanship is second to none and you can see the care and attention to detail they have put into creating this quality and timeless rifle slip.”
